The Lincoln Continental convertible with suicide doors represented the top of luxury cars, with quality improvements and styling refinements for 1962. 1961-63 models are the most requested, a luxury american car that was driven by Hollywood stars and powerful people like JFK in their private lifes. This vehicle was bought in 2010 and was restored for three years. Car belongs to the private collection of Alessandro RG, is only used for special occasions, top models photoshootings, and famous singers music videos. 430 cubic inches ¨Matching numbers¨ original engine featuring 300 bhp, 7.0l MEL V8.

Automatic transmission, 4 Twin-Range Turbo-Drive Automatic.

Engine fully rebuilt.

New water pump.

New coil, altenator and starter rebuilt, distributor, new spark plug wires, thermostast, gaskets, belts, hoses, filters, …

Drum brakes fully rebuilt, including pump and hoses.

New genuine whitewall tires and re-chrome hub caps.

Full restoration , body work, and new paint in 2013. Exterior color is genuine Silver Mink (light blue metallic) color from 1962. According to trim plate,
the car was originally Platinun (Code N) but white when was bought. We finally used genuine G code, Silver Mink Poly from 1962 , as Platinun was too pale.

New upholstery seats and armrest from SMS Fabrics.

New door panels from SMS Fabrics.

Power windows fully operates (new relays and switches).

New floor mats.

New convertible top (Genuine american old white). Top mechanism has been cleaned and painted in black.

Re-chrome (full car, over 15000€ cost in parts rechromed: bumpers, grille, moldings, hub caps, interior parts, …).

New steering wheel and dashboard painting (genuine look), radio and power antenna work.

New exhaust system.

Absolutely free of rust, galvanised steel.
